She was clearly used as a breeding machine prior to coming to the shelter. She was very overbred, heartworm positive and had pneumonia. All of these things kept her from being a good candidate for adoption. She literally spent her days at the shelter curled up in a ball, sitting there waiting for her time to be up and to be killed. We just couldn't let that happen! Her wonderful foster mom, Melissa stepped up to foster her and once she got her home, she realized she just couldn't live without her.
